We have been working on more new adventure tours for you, we criss-crossed the whole of North Vietnam checking out homes and hotels, inns and paths that are good enough for hiking. We have come up with dozens of different ones which are all very interesting, but we had to make a choice from the ones we thought were excellent and the ones we thought were just good.
We
have been working on more new adventure tours for you, we criss-crossed the
whole of North Vietnam checking out homes and hotels, inns and paths that are
good enough for hiking. We have come up with dozens of different ones which are
all very interesting, but we had to make a choice from the ones we thought were
excellent and the ones we thought were just good. We have put together some fine
walks and hikes as well as visits to locals' homes. We give you a close-up view
of life here in the north, you will visit the smallest Ethnic tribe in the
north, but you will also see these people working in the fields, dyeing their
textiles, even worshipping their deities. You will talk to them, walk with them,
sleep in their stilted houses and laugh with them, for they're friendly and
delightfully good-humored people. Our Newest packages have everything you could
long for. Now, let's introduce some of them, again we refuse to publish them all
because of the amount of copying that takes place on the Internet. What we've
done is give you three types of hikes, the first a brisk walk of 20 km, the
second a real hike into the Ethnic region, and third, for the many people who
wanted to spend more time here this year, the three-day tour, which is a
fascinating mixture and climaxes with a visit to a Tay village. Recommended! We
recommend that you bring your camera but we also advise you to show discretion
when taking photographs of Ethnic people. Here are some of our finest
hikes:
Trek Number One Bring your Camera!
Sapa to Lao Chai toTa Van and back to Sapa (±20Km)
Lao Chai is a typical Black H'Mong Village in Sapa . A fairly long walk about 7
km the track will bring you to the centre of this Village where you will visit
one of the few christian villages in the area , and you will be invited take a
visit to the home of some local peoples' house. This is a great opportunity to
learn a lot about these people's daily lives. How they live , what they eat ,
how they dye their indigo & their traditional costume...You will continue your
trek and head towards your next destination which is about 3 km further along a
very scenic path. This will take you to a small Zay Village which is definitely
a highly interesting stop for you, this small village is known as Ta Van. If you
are lucky you can see the local Zay girls weaving and making clothes... You then
make your way back to Sapa at approximately 4 pm, where you can relax and settle
in for the evening.
